Taryn’s family has a cabin North on Kootenay Lake, and she had seen Blaylock’s Mansion many times as they drove by, but had never imagined having it all to herself. She returned to the Kootenays to plan her wedding, and rented the mansion and grounds. The resulting vintage garden party wedding was truly elegant.

Taryn and Nolan were a fantastic couple to work with right from the start. They were happy and calm throughout the whole day, and it was rare to see either one without a smile on.  Although the event was held in a natural location, they desired an urban and modern feel to their images.
